Secondary Sports Teacher (English)
Purpose of Role
To deliver the Sports curriculum, in English, for pupils in P9 classroom.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised secondary teaching degree (PGCE, M.Ed., etc.).
- Minimum 3 years’ recent experience (CELTA / PER).
- Inquiry-, project- teaching.
- Confident user of educational technology to boost engagement and strengthen home–school partnerships.
- Culturally sensitive, collaborative and able to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Self-motivated, organised and reflective.
- Positive, flexible and willing to contribute to a dynamic school community.

You are accountable for delivering on the desired outcomes in each of the components listed below, and the ongoing development of the school and learning improvement.
Key Responsibilities.
As the Teacher, you will have to:
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that foster students’ competence and appreciation of Sport subject.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments and public examinations, ensuring high academic standards and measurable progress.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and review of the Sport’s curriculum within the Department.
- Provide regular feedback, reports, and assessments to students and parents, supporting each learner’s academic and personal growth.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, professional development, and collaborative projects.
- Promote a positive learning environment that reflects the values and ethos of the Mosaic School.
- Support school events, trips, and extracurricular activities related to Sports.
